Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The converter runs in your browser: your video is read from your device, converted there and saved back to it. Nothing is sent to ClipIQ or anyone else.
How long does it take?
It depends on your computer, because every frame is converted on your own device. A fast computer can finish sooner than the video lasts; an older one can take a few times longer. The progress bar shows how far it has got. Keep the tab open until it finishes.
Should I crop or fit?
Crop fills the whole screen and suits one person talking: slide the crop so they stay in frame. Fit keeps everything, which suits slides, screen recordings and wide shots, but makes the picture smaller.
Will I get an MP4?
Yes, in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. A browser that can’t make MP4 gives you a WebM file instead, which TikTok and YouTube accept but Instagram doesn’t.
What if the person moves around?
