Terms of Service
Last updated 27 October 2026
These are the terms for using ClipIQ, written in plain language. By creating an account or using ClipIQ you agree to them. Questions? Email support@getclipiq.com.
"We," "us" and "ClipIQ" in these terms refer to the individual operator described below.
Operator information
ClipIQ is a product operated by Suraj Kumar, an individual based in India — there is no registered company, LLP, GST number or CIN yet, and this page won't claim one it doesn't have. Until incorporation, Suraj Kumar is who you're dealing with under the ClipIQ name, reachable at the address below.

No physical business address is published here — see "Where an address is legally required" on the About page for exactly why, and what closes that gap.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use ClipIQ, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you first — we don't currently verify age or collect parental consent at sign-up. You sign in through our authentication provider, Clerk; keep your sign-in details safe, because you're responsible for what happens under your account. One person should have one free account — opening several to collect the free credits again, or to get around a limit, isn't allowed. To spot that, we compare an IP address and a browser identifier when a free account is set up (see the Privacy Policy); a match only withholds the free credits for the new account, it doesn't block you.
Your content
You keep ownership of the videos you upload and the clips ClipIQ generates from them. You're responsible for having the rights to everything you give us, including videos we download from a YouTube link you submit: only use videos you have permission to download and reuse, and follow the terms of the site they come from.
You give us permission to store, process (transcribe, analyse, render) and deliver your content, solely to provide ClipIQ to you. Clip scores, captions and other suggestions are automated estimates and can be wrong — you're responsible for what you publish.
Acceptable use
Don't upload content that's unlawful or that you have no right to use, don't use ClipIQ to harm others, and don't try to break, overload or get around the service — including automated bulk uploading meant to defeat plan limits, or abusing billing. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Copyright and content removal
We respond to reports of copyright-infringing content. If you believe a video processed through ClipIQ infringes your copyright, email support@getclipiq.com with (1) a description and location of the content, (2) your contact details, and (3) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We're a very small team, so we can't promise a fixed response time, but we act on valid requests, including removing the content and, for repeat or clear-cut infringement, suspending the account involved.
Plans and limits
ClipIQ has Free, Creator and Pro plans, described on the Pricing page, with limits such as videos per day, clips per video and watermarking. Some features — such as Premium processing — are only available on a paid subscription, whatever your credit balance. Business is arranged by contacting us. We may enforce these limits.
Credits
- Credits are spent on processing videos and exporting clips — one credit is one minute of video, and rendering clips is included. An action needs enough credits to start.
- Free includes a small weekly allowance. It resets every week and unused credits from it don't roll over.
- Creator includes 500 credits a week plus 50 a day, and Pro includes 1,300 a week plus 100 a day. Unused plan credits roll over, up to 3,400 on Creator and 8,000 on Pro, and reset to zero if no credits are spent for 14 days. They end with the plan. At most 50% of a week's Creator credits, and 60% of a week's Pro credits, can be used for Premium processing; Economy processing has no such limit.
- To keep the service fair and safe, an account can have at most 3 videos processing at once and submit at most 10 hours of video in any 24 hours.
- The free sign-up bonus and credits you buy in a pack never expire, and are spent after the weekly allowance.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and can't be exchanged for money.
Subscriptions and payments
- Creator and Pro are subscriptions billed weekly, in advance, and renew automatically every week until you cancel. Payments are processed by Razorpay using the payment method you provide; we never see or store your full card details.
- Prices are listed in Indian rupees. We don't currently calculate, collect or remit any sales tax, VAT or GST on your purchase — if tax applies in your jurisdiction, that's between you and your local tax authority, not something added at our checkout today. This may change as we grow.
- Credit packs are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Credits are added once the payment has actually cleared — with some payment methods that can take a little while.
- You can upgrade from Creator to Pro on the Billing page. You're charged for the new plan straight away. Your unspent Creator credits carry over, and Pro's first week is added on top, up to Pro's rollover limit.
- To cancel, use "Cancel subscription" under Manage subscription on the Billing page. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your plan until the end of the week you've already paid for, and we don't refund the rest of that week. To move to a lower plan, cancel and subscribe to the plan you want.
- If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay retries the charge. While it's failing your plan stays active but your weekly credits are paused; if it can't be collected your subscription ends and your account returns to Free. We don't currently offer a self-serve way to update your saved payment method — cancel and subscribe again with a different one, or email support@getclipiq.com.
- Price changes apply to future billing periods, never to a period you've already paid for.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable by default. If something went wrong — a charge you didn't expect, or a problem on our side — email support@getclipiq.com within 7 days of the charge and we'll review it in good faith and, where appropriate, refund it. Credits you've already spent aren't refundable.
When a payment is refunded, the credits it paid for are removed from your balance in proportion to the refund (only what you still have — credits you've already used aren't clawed back). If a subscription payment is refunded in full, that subscription is ended too, so you aren't billed again.
If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of contacting us, we remove the credits it paid for and end any subscription it was for while the dispute is open. If the dispute is decided in our favour we restore those credits, but not the ended subscription — you're welcome to subscribe again. Please contact us first: we'd much rather sort it out directly. Nothing here limits any right to a refund or to cancel that you have under the law where you live.
The same rules, with cancellation and how the service is delivered, are on the Refund & Cancellation Policy page.
Posting to YouTube
You can connect a YouTube channel and, on the Creator and Pro plans, post clips to it now or on a schedule. By connecting you agree to theYouTube Terms of Service, and you're responsible for what you post — you need the rights to the content, as you do for anything you upload to ClipIQ. Scheduled posts go out as close to the chosen time as we can manage, but we can't guarantee an exact time, and YouTube can delay, limit or reject uploads. If your plan ends, posts still scheduled won't go out.
Creator Affiliate Program
- Accounts on a Creator or Pro plan get a referral link and code on the Affiliate program page, and can also choose their own code. We may remove a chosen code that impersonates another person, brand or ClipIQ itself; your original code keeps working. When someone signs up with your code and pays for a Creator or Pro plan, you earn 25% of each of their first 12 plan payments. Credit packs don't count.
- A code has to be entered before the person's first plan payment, and only one code can be used per account. You can't use your own code or refer an account you control.
- Commission is paid in Indian rupees to the UPI ID you add on the Affiliate program page, after the payment it came from is past the 7-day refund window. A payment that is refunded or disputed earns no commission.
- We may withhold or cancel commission earned through spam, misleading claims about ClipIQ, self-referrals or fake accounts, and we may change or end the program for future payments with notice on this page. Commission already earned under these terms will still be paid.
Diwali offer 2026
- What you get: the first weekly payment of a new Creator subscription is ₹125 instead of ₹249 (₹124 off). Every payment after the first is the regular ₹249 a week until you cancel. You get the full Creator plan and its credits from the start — nothing is reduced.
- When: for checkouts completed by 11:59 PM IST on 8 November 2026. Availability is limited, and we may end the offer earlier by taking it off the site; anyone who completed checkout before then keeps the offer price for their first week.
- Who: accounts that aren't on an active Creator or Pro plan when they check out. One offer per person and per account, on a new subscription only — upgrading, downgrading or switching plans doesn't qualify.
- How: the discount is applied automatically at checkout when you pay with UPI. If you pay with another method, the regular price applies.
- Other discounts: the offer can't be combined with any other discount, including the referral discount — if you signed up with a referral code, the Diwali price applies instead of it. The rest of the Creator Affiliate Program is unchanged.
- Cancelling and refunds: you can cancel any time on the Billing page, which stops future payments. OurRefund & Cancellation Policyapplies as usual; a refunded or disputed offer payment still counts as your offer used.
- Fair use: we may refuse, cancel or reverse the offer for accounts created or used to claim it more than once, or obtained through fraud or abuse. Apart from the price above, these Terms apply to an offer subscription exactly as to any other.
Service availability
ClipIQ is provided "as is" and "as available" during this early stage of the product, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows. We don't currently guarantee uptime or processing times, and we may change, add or remove features.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, ClipIQ won't be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses — such as lost revenue from a clip that didn't perform, or lost data you hadn't backed up elsewhere. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of ClipIQ is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) INR 2,000. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of ClipIQ in violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or a third party's rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any right you have under local consumer-protection law to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms. We'd rather resolve a problem directly — email us first at support@getclipiq.com and we'll try to sort it out in good faith before anyone reaches for a court.
Ending your use
You can stop using ClipIQ at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. How your data is handled when you delete content or leave is covered in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as ClipIQ changes; the date at the top shows when they were last updated. Using ClipIQ after an update means you accept it.
