1. ClipIQ
Best for: creators in India who want to pay in rupees with UPI, weekly. Price: Free, ₹249/week (Creator) or ₹599/week (Pro).
Strengths
- Every clip gets a score out of 100 with the reasoning behind it, on every plan
- Cuts land on sentence boundaries, so clips don’t stop mid-thought
- Billed weekly in rupees through Razorpay: UPI and Indian cards, no year paid up front
- Free plan exports at the same quality as paid
Watch out for
- No AI B-roll, 4K export, subtitle translation, API or team workspaces
- Posting straight to social accounts is still limited
2. OpusClip
Best for: the deepest feature set, if you’re happy paying in US dollars. Price: Free, $15/month (Starter) or $29/month (Pro); Business is custom.
Strengths
- Virality score, reprompting and prompt-to-clip on paid plans
- AI B-roll, speech clean-up and a scheduler
- Auto-import from a verified YouTube channel; Zapier and an API higher up
Watch out for
- Several features (virality score, watermark-free export) need a paid plan
- Billed in US dollars
3. Vizard
Best for: 4K exports and scheduling posts to several social accounts. Price: Free, $29/month (Creator) or $39/month (Business); half that a month when paid yearly.
Strengths
- 4K export and a social scheduler on paid plans
- Shared team workspace and brand kit on Business ($5 a month per extra seat)
Watch out for
- Free exports are 720p
- The lower price needs a year paid up front
4. Klap
Best for: paying per clip rather than per minute of video. Price: $14/month (Basic), $39/month (Pro) or $94/month (Pro+), billed yearly.
Strengths
- You pay for clips generated, not minutes uploaded
- Unlimited connected social accounts and analytics on every plan
Watch out for
- Listed prices are for yearly billing
- Long videos with few good moments still use clips
5. Submagic
Best for: polishing short videos you’ve already cut: captions, zooms, B-roll. Price: From $19/month (Starter); Pro $39/month, Business $69/month.
Strengths
- Strong caption styles, auto zooms and silence/bad-take removal (Pro)
- Caption translation, hook titles and publishing to social
Watch out for
- Plans are sized for short videos; clipping long videos (Magic Clips) is a separate add-on
- 4K export only on Business
6. Quso (formerly Vidyo.ai)
Best for: the lowest US-dollar price per minute on a yearly plan. Price: From $7/month billed yearly ($84 a year for 150 minutes a month); monthly billing costs more.
Strengths
- Every plan has every feature, including a brand kit
- Also does subtitles, scheduling and analytics
Watch out for
- The cheapest prices are yearly
How to choose
- Test with your own video. Clip picking is the part that differs most, and it depends on your content. Run one episode through two or three free plans and compare.
- Check what’s counted. Minutes uploaded, clips made and videos edited go at very different rates for a two-hour podcast.
- Check how you pay. Yearly prices look lower but are paid up front; dollar plans add card conversion fees in India.
- Only pay for extras you’ll use. B-roll, 4K, schedulers and team seats are worth it if they’re part of your workflow, not otherwise.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI clipping tool?
It depends on what you need. OpusClip has the deepest feature set. Vizard is strongest on 4K and scheduling posts. Klap charges per clip rather than per minute. Submagic is best for polishing short videos with captions and zooms. Quso is cheapest per minute in US dollars on a yearly plan. ClipIQ is the one billed weekly in rupees with UPI, and it explains why each clip was picked. The fairest test is to run the same video through two or three of them on their free plans.
Which AI clipping tool has a free plan?
ClipIQ, OpusClip, Vizard and Quso all have free plans, each with a watermark. ClipIQ’s free plan gives 500 minutes of video to start and 30 more every week; Vizard’s gives 60 minutes a month at 720p. Klap and Submagic didn’t list a free plan on their pricing pages on 22 October 2026, though both let you try them free without a card.
Which AI clipping tool can I pay for with UPI?
ClipIQ bills in Indian rupees through Razorpay, so UPI and Indian cards work, weekly, from ₹249 a week. The other tools here list their prices in US dollars.
Are minutes the same on every tool?
No. Most tools count minutes of video uploaded, Klap counts clips made and Submagic counts videos edited, and each runs its own AI. Compare what you get from the same video rather than the numbers alone.
