Deleting your Instagram data

When you connect an Instagram account, ClipIQ keeps only what it needs to post your clips: your account's IDs and username, an encrypted access token, and the posts you scheduled to that account (each one's clip, caption, time and Instagram link). Nothing else from Instagram is collected.

How to delete it

Any one of these deletes it straight away:

  • In ClipIQ — open the Calendar page, find the account under Accounts, and click the ✕ next to it.
  • In Instagram — go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, and remove ClipIQ. Instagram tells us, and we delete the data automatically.
  • By email — write tosupport@getclipiq.comfrom the email on your ClipIQ account, and we'll delete it and confirm.

Reels already posted stay on Instagram — delete them there if you want them gone. To delete your whole ClipIQ account and everything in it, see our Privacy Policy.
